Basset Rescue Of Old Dominion (BROOD) was founded in the fall of 1996 by a small group of basset hound lovers who wanted to offer a more customer friendly approach to adopting a basset.  BROOD has rescued over 3,100 homeless and at-risk hounds in our 28 years of rescue!
